What is Fanatics Football League?

Fanatics Football League is a team based small sided tournament, with the winners of each age group crowned Hills Champions! Register a group of friends as a team, choose a team name, pick your team jersey from the fantastic designs featured online, then simply turn up ready to play on the day! Two days of full on football action. League ladders, prizes, giveaways, challenges plus loads of healthy competition and teamwork. Different age groups available. Lunch and additional water is included both days, as is your team jersey.

As the world’s most participated in sport, football is so much more than the game with the round ball. Football is completely inclusive and does not discriminate. Whether you have never played before or are a professional, the rules of the game, the equipment required to play and the size of the fields you play on are always the same.

It teaches cooperation, teamwork, problem solving and helps develop social skills and self-confidence, boosts self-esteem, as well as teaching respect for others. There are many health benefits to playing football including the physical - building strength, improving muscle tone, increasing flexibility, aerobic fitness and endurance not to mention the mental benefits - friendships that are formed and the comradery that develops between teammates, as well as life lessons in winning and losing.

How many players can you have per team?

The 5/6's age group is a 4 v 4 competition. Register up to 7 per team

The  7/8's age group is a 5 v 5 competition. Register up to 8 per team

The 9/10's age group is a 5 v 5 competition. Register up to 8 per team

The 11/12's age group is a 5 v 5 competition. Register up to 8 per team

What is the criteria for the age groups?

Children must register into the age group to which they are turning this year. For example if you are turning 6 this year, you need to register into the 5/6's age group.
